Building Bridges of Hope

Clean Water Coalition (CWC) is dedicated to bringing clean, safe water to communities in need. We believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right and essential for healthy living.

Our Story

Founded in 2024, the Clean Water Coalition was established by a group of experienced water treatment professionals who have worked in potable and agricultural markets around the globe. During our travels, we witnessed many well-meaning charities providing water treatment solutions that were either ineffective or short-lived. We saw a critical need for reliable and sustainable water treatment solutions that not only disinfect but also endure over time.

Our Mission

At CWC, we focus on delivering high-quality water treatment equipment and comprehensive training to communities in need. Our goal is to ensure that the solutions we provide are not only effective but also maintainable by the local communities, ensuring long-term access to clean water.

To date, we have successfully completed five major projects in collaboration with Casas Por Cristo, an organization dedicated to building homes for communities in need. Through these projects, we have provided life-changing access to clean water, improving health and quality of life for countless individuals.

I have been coming on trips to Guatemala with Casas since 2013, interned in 2017, and came on staff in 2018. There are things when you come on trips here and work here that you just accept will never be a thing that happens. One of those things for me was to have clean drinking tap water at all. Incredibly, that changed this week. North Ridge Church out of Asheboro North Carolina partnered with Advanced Treatment Technologies in order to donate two water filters to the Casas Guatemala location. This week, Charlie and Dean came down to make sure everything got installed correctly and worked. These systems are a complete game changer for our teams and their stay with us as they build homes. We are super proud to have these systems in our possession and can't wait to see the way that they increase our ability to serve our teams and these communities! If you told me in 2018 that this would be a thing that happened, I would have never believed you. But God...

Make sure you go to the last two photos and look at the difference in the water from before and after the filter started working. We are still working on the piping systems in the buildings to make them how we want them, but the buildings already have clean water!

We also had a busy week last week. We had another staff member, David Quinones, come down and do Pastor Training with our pastors in San Raymundo. He also assisted in a dedication as an example that our pastors can use to minister even stronger to the families that we build for. It's been a busy several years in this location, but these last few weeks have consisted of some of the most important improvements!

We are grateful for all of you that continue to work with us through all of the growth and difficulties of the last few years since Covid. We are excited to continue those partnerships!
